they see you and know nothing,
they don't know where you're from,
where you've been,
or who you are.
to them you are a blank slate.
If you're lucky and intriguing enough
they search for the pieces of your puzzle.
They ask around, hear rumors and learn your reputation.
But they don't learn anything near what you could teach them.
Then, if your reputation hasn't gone and completely destroyed their curiosity towards you
and they are still intruiged they'll come to you for the truth and piece by piece things begin to make more sense.
Until eventually they are part of the puzzle.
and you're no longer strangers.
